A program designed to assist elderly and handicapped homeowners with financial hardships who receive legal orders to paint their homes. Under Brush Up Dayton seniors can receive free exterior paint - 333-3984

CITYWIDE BUILDING FUND Housing Loan Officer - 226-0457

Maximum Loan Amount: $15,000 for single family ($10,000 per unit, owner-occupied up to four units). Interest rate based on need, fixed for term, not to exceed prime for single family. (Prime + two for investor properties). Term for pay-back 3-15 years, depending on work items. No penalty for early payoff. Closing costs payable at closing. (Varies, discuss with your Loan Officer). To be eligible applicant must meet HUD's Low to Moderate income guidelines determined by household size, own and reside in the property to be improved and it must be within city limits of Dayton, Ohio. (A preliminary review will be ready within 24 hours following receipt of a completed application).

FROC LOAN PROGRAM - Call CityWide Building Finance Corporation for information - 226-0457

Program available to low to moderate income homeowners within the FROC Priority Board area only. Program offers up to $5,000 at 5% interest for 5 years.

INNERWEST PRIORITY BOARD - 333-6549

Exterior fix-up Grant Program for low to moderate homeowners residing in the Innerwest Priority Board area only. Preference given to senior citizens (55 & older) with written code violations.

LELA LOAN PROGRAM - Contact Lela Estes for info333-3984

Addresses emergency issues for poverty-level income homeowners. Referrals are made to City Wide by Housing Inspection

NEIGHBOR CARE - 293-4535

Neighbor Care serves low income homeowners who reside in Montgomery County, and who are:  Elderly and /or disabled, or families with small children:  faced with an urgent need for a home repair such as:  a broken furnace in winter; frozen pipes; electrical problems that pose a safety hazard; a broken door lock; a leaking roof

NORTHWEST PRIORITY BOARD - 333-5511

Emergency interior & exterior fix-up Grant for low to moderate homeowners residing within Northwest Priority Board area only. Preference given to senior citizens (62 or older) with written code violations. Call Northwest Priority Board

WEATHERIZATION WORKS - SCOPE Montgomery County - 341-5000

Weatherization services include attic, sidewall and/or crawl-space insulation. All measures possible are Taken to eliminate air infiltration into these homes. The foremost objective is to reduce energy costs For low-income persons living in our community. This population includes persons receiving SSI, Social Security Disability or other forms of limited disability income
