To seal a felony record, visit the City
Clerk of Courts, taking your $50 filing
fee in cash or money order, a SASE (self addressed sealed envelope) and a
letter to the judge explaining why this should be removed from your
records. This needs to explain to the judge why this is no longer relevant
to your life. Only available for first time offenders. If
the charge is not the first charge, it is not available to be
sealed. Questions? Call Lena Saladin at Clerk of
Courts - 225-4537.
